Why are we here? The simple answer is, when we started this, there was no WAT fanfic archive on the 'net. Since we couldn't find what we were looking for, we decided to build it ourselves. It is our hope that this will become one of the largest, most active Without a Trace archives to be found anywhere on the internet. FAQ/ STANDARD PROCEDURES: What is this place? This is the WAT FIC for ALL archive, an all-inclusive archive for gen, het and slash fanfics for Without A Trace. Who can archive here? Anyone who has written a WAT fanfic is welcome to upload it to the archive. What types of stories are allowed? Every type. Gen, het or slash. Case Files, humour, romance, crossovers. The only thing that will NOT be accepted to the archive is Real Person Fic (stories featuring the actors rather than the characters portrayed on the show). Are WIPS allowed? Yes. Works-in-progress will be accepted for archiving. Are Warnings mandatory? Warnings are not required on your fics, but keep in mind that they are often one of the criteria readers use to search for which fics they want to read. What if I have Story Notes or Warnings that aren't listed in the uploading form? Our suggestion is that you either include them in the body of the story itself, or create a separate first 'Notes/Warnings chapter' to your story that includes those extra notes. This option allows skipping those warnings for readers who would rather read unspoiled. What if there is more than one pairing in my story? The upload interface allows for specification of 2 pairings. If you require more, the above Story Notes option will let you include other minor pairings. What if my story has both het and slash elements? In that case, you should choose the category that is the main focus of the story, whether is it primarily about the het relationship or about the slash relationship, and put it in that category with a warning for the other content. For example, a Jack/Martin story that also has a minor Danny/Samantha subplot would be labelled as a slash story with het content. Can I have my story removed? Authors remain in complete control over their fics. You upload the story, you may update or remove it at any time. Do you take links to stories, rather than the story itself?
